It takes place at the end of July and beginning of August. I (Hrafnkell) am currently investigating whether week 1 or week 2 is a better option since I won’t be able to go for two weeks. I think week 2 will be the better option for me. This is the biggest WCS workshop in Europe and with the most American pros.

I’ve been there once before and the weather is fantastic, the teaching is fantastic, the people are fantastic, etc. I’ve only been to one other event of the same quality and where I’ve enjoyed myself as much. The weekend pass is 210 euro, I looked at flights to Paris a couple of days ago and saw them ranging from 40.000 isk. to 60.000 isk. The accommodation is not too expensive. So even though it’s not the cheapest summer vacation you can take it’s also not very expensive, and you get a lot of bang for your buck!
